Optometrist

Dr. Rob Gilbert is ecstatic to serve his hometown community of Ridgefield and surrounding communities! He graduated from Southern California College of Optometry in 2016 and dragged his wife and 2 small children up to the PNW to experience the pure adventure and awe this region invokes. They have lived in Ridgefield since moving up here and are in LOVE with this charming city and amazing residents. He has been practicing optometry in the surrounding area for the past 6 years and has gained a faithful following of patients along the way due to his warm and personable approach to patient care. 

Dr. Rob loves to see all patient ages from babies to the young at heart to the not so young at heart. He has 3 little ones at home and especially loves his pediatric exams and making kids feel comfortable during their eye exam. He has practiced optometry in multiple practice settings that have allowed him to gain invaluable eye care experience for everything from children’s and adult’s comprehensive eye exams to myopia control using various treatment options to dry eye management to advanced ocular disease treatment and management. 

Dr Rob and his young family reside in Ridgefield and if you see him at Rosaurers or any downtown events, feel free to say hello! If he does not recognize you, it is most likely because he forgot his glasses.
